How much data will I use?

The amount of data you will use depends on the quality of content you are streaming. The higher the picture quality, the more data you will be using. Data usage and video streaming quality may vary depending on your connection speed and your home broadband plan.

Data usage estimations:

High definition (HD): 1.65GB of data per hour - 20mbps minimum connection

Medium quality: 750MB of data per hour - 10-15mbps minimum connection

Low/ Standard definition (SD): 300MB of data per hour - 5mbps minimum connection

To get the best streaming TV experience, we recommend using a fast broadband connection and signing up for an unlimited home broadband plan. Speak with your Internet Service Provider (ISP) about your current plan and managing data usage.
