In fact, there's more to enjoy than ever before for Freeviewers.
Shifting some existing channels into new spots will make it that much easier to discover what's new and watch what you love.
The good folks at Discovery New Zealand are bringing you these exciting new channels - free for all Kiwis!
You can find "A Better Everyday" with eden on Freeview channel 8; and eden+1 on Freeview channel 18 (so you can enjoy everything on eden one hour later).
Rush is loaded on Freeview channel 14, with high-octane shows across theme nights every day of the week.
Along with those new channels, three existing ones have moved to new spots:
DUKE has moved to channel 6, HGTV to channel 19,
and Al Jazeera English to 20.
And three 'plus 1' channels have shifted too, so you can more easily watch your favourite shows one hour later:
TVNZ 1 plus 1 is now on channel 11, DUKE plus 1 on channel 12, and Three+1 on 13.
Now you can just press 1 on your TV remote before hitting the channel number to go to the 'plus 1' versions of TVNZ 1 and Three - easy!
OTHER CHANGES on MARCH 21st
As part of the channel launch, Discovery NZ is transforming Choice into eden (channel 8), with many of the most popular Choice titles moving over to eden.
At the same time, The Edge TV and Breeze TV are going off-air. But don't worry, you can still watch them live online, on theedge.co.nz and thebreeze.co.nz. And if you're a fan of music videos on the big screen, be sure to check out Juice TV on Freeview Channel 200.
DO I NEED TO DO ANYTHING on MARCH 21st?
Most TVs set up with Freeview will automatically update. If that's you, then you don't need to do anything at all - just sit back, relax and enjoy all the fresh shows across the new line-up.
You can check out the Freeview TV Guide (EPG) on the day to see where to find all the channels on your telly.
Some TVs need your OK
Some TVs might ask for your permission before they can update.
In case your telly likes to err on the side of caution, look out for a prompt on your TV on the day (or when you next watch TV after the 21st), and select ‘OK’ or ‘Yes’ to give it the go-ahead to pick-up the new line-up.
