Freeview On Demand is set to end by late 2022...
You won't be able to watch any on-demand shows through Freeview from late 2022, but you will still be able to watch them on ThreeNow, Māori+ and RNZ, wherever they're available.
You don't need to do anything at all right now.
We'll provide more updates and information so you might continue to enjoy your favourite shows on demand beyond this change.
Everything else is staying the same.
Live TV channels and other Freeview features won't be affected, you can still enjoy all the same channels
and the 8-day Freeview TV Guide.
If you have a Freeview Recorder, you'll still be able to record and save programmes on Live TV
to watch at your leisure.
And yes, you'll still be able to enjoy Freeview free of charge.
Watching on-demand
from late 2022
You won't be able to watch any on-demand shows through Freeview from late 2022, but you can still watch them on ThreeNow, Māori+ and RNZ, wherever they're available.
Discovery NZ, Māori Television and RNZ - the broadcasters who bring you ThreeNow, Māori+ and RNZ - will work to make their on-demand shows available as widely as possible.
As we find out more about where those apps and shows will be, we'll share more information with you so you can keep watching your favourite programmes on-demand.

Content and channels on Freeview are subject to change at the broadcasters' discretion. See Freeview Terms of Use for full details.
