When is the satellite transition taking place?

This satellite transition was successfully completed on Tuesday 15 April 2025.

Work was carried out in the wee hours of the morning to minimise any disruption to viewers.

As the transition required careful coordination with multiple third-parties and involved multi-stage preparations, some weather-dependent, we were unable to guarantee a specific date for this update but advised previously it had been scheduled for mid-April, in the week of April 14th.
