Your satellite box isn't on the list: please upgrade your box.
If your satellite box is NOT listed above and you've lost all channels, it's time to get an upgrade.
- See upgrade options here.
- Learn more about why the upgrade is needed here.
Your box is on the list: it should still work.
If your satellite box is in the list above, then it supports the new satellite and should still work. If you're still having trouble:
- For a Dish TV or Zygo box, retune/reset your box - see Dish TV Support for instructions.
- For a Panasonic recorder, retune your recorder - see guide here.
- If that doesn't help, get in touch with us here. You may need to reach out to an installer to check and improve your satellite TV setup.
You don't have a satellite box...
If you don't have a satellite box, then you'd be using a dual-tuner TV (the TV has a satellite tuner inside). Freeview-approved dual-tuner TVs should continue to work and automatically pick-up the latest updates.
However, if yours isn't working as expected, we recommend the following:
- Turn your TV off at the wall and wait 10 seconds before powering it back on.
- Navigate through all channels (as if you're channel surfing).
- Cold retune your TV if you're still experiencing any issues.
- If that doesn't help, let us know here for advice on what to try next. You may need to get an installer to check and improve your satellite TV setup.
Check if you're actually tuned into satellite...
Everything above is only relevant if you're tuned in through a satellite dish (here's an easy way to tell). If you're not tuned in through satellite and experience any issues, find support here.
