If your TV asks you to retune...
What has changed?
Our satellite TV service updated on Wednesday 3 June:
- Sky Open has upgraded to HD
- TVNZ 1 is now HD nationwide
- Bravo, RUSH, HGTV, Eden and Three+1 were given a technical update
You can still watch those channels after 3 June on the same channel numbers, and of course still all for free.
This change only applies to you if you watch Freeview via satellite. There are no changes to our terrestrial service over UHF or on the Freeview Streaming TV app.
What you need to do
Most TVs and satellite boxes will automatically update.
If yours don't update correctly, when you go to Sky Open, you will see a message asking you to retune - find retune guides here.
If you have Series Links booked on TVNZ 1, Sky Open, Bravo, Rush, HGTV, Eden or Three+1, please rebook them after 3 June.
