What do I need to do?

Most TVs and Freeview boxes would auto-update on Wednesday 3 June. So, chances are, you don't need to do anything!

If for some reason your TV or satellite box don't update correctly, you will see a retune message when you go to those channels. In that case, please retune your TV or box. Refer to retune guides here.

Will my Series Links still work?

If you have Series Links set on TVNZ 1, Sky Open, Bravo, Rush, HGTV, Eden or Three+1, it's recommended to check and rebook after 3 June.

Series Links on other channels should continue to work and will not require rebooking.

Why are these changes being made?

To ensure we deliver the best possible free TV experience in New Zealand, our channel lineup can evolve from time to time.

This change allowedSky Open and TVNZ 1 to upgrade to HD, bringing better video quality to homes throughout the country.
