On Thursday 28 May 2026, an update was rolled out to the Freeview Streaming TV app to integrate with the new TVNZ+ channel delivery system.

While extensive testing and optimisations have been carried out to ensure a seamless transition, adapting to new delivery formats means some temporary teething issues may occur. 

Known minor issues:

1. TVNZ 1, TVNZ 2 & Duke (TVNZ channels) are not loading on older LG TVs (WebOS 4.0). The channel logo remains on screen.

2. While streaming TVNZ channels, the stream may pause for 1-2 seconds before resuming. This may occur intermittently, and in some cases at an interval of 5-10 minutes. 

Both issues are being investigated as we work towards a fix.
