On Thursday 28 May 2026, an update was rolled out to the Freeview Streaming TV app to integrate with the new TVNZ+ channel delivery system. While extensive testing and optimisations have been carried out to ensure a seamless transition, adapting to new delivery formats means some temporary teething issues may occur. 

RESOLVED ISSUE

TVNZ 1, TVNZ 2 & Duke (TVNZ channels) show a black screen on some Panasonic TVs (specifically TVs running my Home Screen which features an Apps Market icon and a simple ribbon at the bottom of the home screen). A fix has been rolled out on 15th September.
