A very special Crowd Goes Wild that dovetails nicely onto the biggest night of the year for New Zealand sport.

Plasticpeople HERO
COMING IN MAY

Plastic People

Mon 18 May 8:30pm

For anyone who still believes the plastic problem is someone else’s responsibility, this film offers a sobering corrective.

From a New Zealand perspective, this film lands with particular irony. We pride ourselves on environmental stewardship while consuming imported goods shrink-wrapped in layers of plastic and exporting waste beyond our shores. Plastic People quietly exposes that contradiction without naming Aotearoa directly. You don’t need to see New Zealand on screen to recognise the patterns it documents.
