Can I get Freeview on all the TVs in my house?

Definitely! You can enjoy Freeview on all the TVs in your house. You just need to run several signal cables from a single UHF aerial or satellite dish and connect a splitter to your main antenna cable. However, all the TVs, set top boxes connected to that single antenna must be compatible with it. For example, if you're using a UHF aerial, you'll need a TV, set top box, or recorder that's compatible with UHF.

If you have UHF coverage (you can check here), you'll need:

  1. A rooftop UHF aerial to pick up the signal.
  2. A splitter to split the signal cable into different rooms/TVs.
  3. For each room, a Freeview TV, box, or recorder for UHF.

If you don't have UHF coverage, you'll need:

  1. A satellite dish to pick up the signal.
  2. A splitter to split the signal cable into different rooms/TVs.
  3. For each room, either a dual tuner TV or a Freeview box or recorder for satellite connected to a standard TV.

Don't have a UHF aerial or satellite dish on your roof? No problem:

You can stream Freeview Live with the new Freeview Streaming TV App, which you can download on selected TVs and use your internet connection instead of an antenna. Or you can simply purchase a SmartVU device, which you can plug into an HDMI port on any TV. Find out more information by clicking here.
