What is a Freeview compatible device?

At Freeview we approve a whole range of digital receivers, recorders, and TVs with Freeview built-in that we put through testing to make sure they're up to the Freeview standards. Any device that has been tested and approved are termed Freeview Approved.

Freeview Compatible devices have not been tested or approved by Freeview; however they may still work with the Freeview services as their specifications have been agreed with Freeview. The Vodafone T-Box is an example of a Freeview Compatible device.
