Is Freeview ending?

Not at all, Freeview is very much staying and we're committed to providing great Live TV for free to all New Zealanders.

Only our On Demand service is ending, it’s only one added free service provided by Freeview, and is entirely separate from the other services we provide, such as Live TV and the TV Guide.

On demand content is provided by broadcasters and once Freeview On Demand ends, you’ll still be able to watch those shows through ThreeNow, Māori+ and RNZ, wherever they’re available.

All the channels on Live TV and other features you can access through Freeview are not affected at all.
